This year, six living heritage elements were added to Lithuania’s Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage Values and, for the first time, activities for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage (good practice) were included – “Revitalization of the Lietuvininkai (Šišioniškiai) Dialect: the School and Other Activities.” This application was submitted by the Šilutė Hugo Šojus Museum.
